Energy autonomy,
proven under any condition.

We work with Space and Defense partners who need to reduce risk around powering miniaturized systems, including nanosatellites, tactical drones, and field deployed defense electronics, where the available volume for energy storage is the limiting factor.

Microelectronic chip integrated into a satellite, on a transparent background A line drawing of a satellite outline, body, solar panels, antenna, surrounds a miniature teal chip with fine pins. An amber pulse animates the chip, a teal dot orbits around it, and signal arcs spread from the antenna to represent data transmission.
Context

What this evaluation is, and is not

Space programs and Defense programs introduce different constraints, specific to each environment. Space missions call for radiation tolerance, thermal tolerance, and tolerance to launch vibration. Defense deployments call for resistance to mechanical shock, a wide operating temperature range, and prolonged storage under field conditions.

Engagement parameters

Typical constraints

Space environment parameters

Radiation, thermal, and launch vibration parameters, scoped per engagement, not assumed by default.

Defense environment parameters

Mechanical shock, wide operating temperature range, and prolonged field storage, scoped per engagement, not assumed by default.

Packaging & interface constraints

Specific to the intended system, set by the target platform, not a generic size or interface target.

Intrinsic safety

All solid state, with no cobalt and no flammable solvent. This removes the explosion and flammability risks associated with liquid electrolytes.

From our cleanroom

Where the work happens

Where engagements typically begin

Example JDP starting points

01

Electrical characterization

Voltage, capacity, and charge and discharge performance, measured under partner defined conditions.

02

Integration feasibility

Assessed within agreed size and interface constraints, not against an idealized form factor.

03

Space environment screening

Radiation, thermal, and vibration screening, only if explicitly included in scope and defined with the partner, documented within the agreed perimeter.

04

Field conditions screening

Mechanical shock and temperature range screening under simulated field conditions, only if explicitly included in scope.

05

Repeatability & stability

Signals tracked within the test window, giving an honest read on consistency before scaling up.

What we do not claim

Stated plainly

We do not claim qualification, certification, or approval.

We do not claim any sensitive property, such as radiation hardness, unless explicitly tested and cleared to mention.

Sensitive details and test artifacts are shared under NDA, within an agreed scope.
