JDP approach

A rigorous process, built for your use case.

Every engagement follows a structured JDP flow. We move from alignment to measured evidence, with explicit conditions and limitations at each step.

The challenge

The miniaturization challenge

Electronic devices such as implantable medical sensors, micro-sensors, micro-drones, or nanosatellites are getting increasingly miniaturized. Yet the micro-batteries and micro-capacitors available on the market remain too limited in energy capacity to let these devices run at their fullest potential.

At the sub-millimeter scale, even the tiniest battery looks bulky, and existing energy subsystems often account for more than 50% of a microdevice's volume, holding back both its miniaturization and its autonomy.

Voltify's mission is to provide highly integrated energy subsystems, capacitors, batteries, or a combination of both, that let microdevice manufacturers build smaller devices with greater autonomy.

Our technology

Coralium

At Voltify, we have developed a technology called Coralium, giving our components an unprecedented geometrical density. Coralium is fully patented by the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), with an exclusive license granted to Voltify. This technology gives Voltify and its products four key differentiators:

Extreme energy density

More capacity than the most advanced micro-capacitors, more surface area than high-end micro-batteries.

High level of miniaturization

Deep integration, built for the most volume-constrained devices.

Compatible with semiconductor processes

Enabling high scalability and lower production costs.

Cobalt-free, all-solid-state

All-solid-state, with no cobalt and no flammable solvent. This eliminates explosion and flammability risks, meeting stringent safety and compliance requirements, including those of the medical industry.

Steps

JDP flow

This is where Coralium meets your constraints: a structured Joint Development Program (JDP), from alignment to measured evidence.

01

Alignment

Confirm use case and constraints, test conditions and inputs, success criteria, and decision rules within an agreed scope.

02

Scoping

Define the JDP perimeter: what will be measured, under which conditions, and what falls outside scope. Establish a paid JDP structure.

03

Execution

Run characterization and tests within the defined scope. Document conditions, methods, and observations systematically.

04

Review

Deliver a written review with measured evidence, explicit conditions, constraints documentation, and limitations. Assess feasibility and define next steps.

Engagement parameters

What partners provide

A technical owner

For scoping and co-defining test conditions alongside our team.

Access to conditions

Intended operating conditions and interfaces, made available for testing.

A decision owner

Someone who can define next steps once the review is delivered.

Outputs

What you receive

Test plan with defined conditions.

Measured evidence under those conditions.

Constraints documentation.

Written review with explicit limits.

Sensitive details and test artifacts are shared under NDA, within an agreed scope, before any deeper engagement.
